| The Session Time Calculator is to help you figure out how much time you may need to book your recording session for. The calculator bases it’s calculations off of how many different songs you have and how many total minutes of music you want recorded. There are certain rules as to how much music you are supposed to record per hour in a session. We’ve taken this into account and also added some other factors in that try to make it more realistic such as whether or not you have charts, are having your musicians play to pre-existing tracks, and number of songs. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that estimating session length is difficult without fully know the music involved. Once you place your order we will help you determine the proper length. A good place to start is think how much time you think it’ll take and double that. If you have more than three musician’s on a track plan on 3 hours per tune. |
